We recently announced the national launch of the EG7+ robot. Okibo’s fully autonomous, AI-guided painting and drywall finishing robot debuted this fall at Federal and AEC Innovation Day in Phoenix, AZ hosted by Hensel Phelps, receiving enthusiastic feedback from AEC industry attendees.

The EG7+ can be used for high wall projects, reaching 24 feet for sanding, painting and level 4 finishing.

We proudly established our U.S. base of operations in Englewood, NJ, solidifying our commitment to the American market, in April of this year. Since then, Okibo’s robotic innovations have taken the AEC world by storm. It has been a year of rapid growth and proven results.
In addition to the EG7+ launch, we announced a landmark collaboration with Performance Contracting, Inc. at a King of Prussia, PA project—increasing sanding productivity by 5x while eliminating the need for overhead lifts. We traveled the world to AEC events such as CRETech, ROBEX2025, Robotics Summit, New York Build, Blueprint and others.
Perhaps most importantly, we delivered on our promise of safety.
Journeymen on projects using Okibo’s robots reported significantly less physical fatigue, proving that Okibo robots don’t just finish walls—they protect the people who build them.

As this recent Politico story reports, the U.S. government is showing a growing commitment to accelerating the development of the robotics industry.
“There is now recognition that advanced robotics is crucial to the U.S. in terms of manufacturing, technology, national security, defense applications, public safety.”
Jeff Burnstein, president of the Association for Advancing Automation, confirms that robots make workers more productive, which could expand job opportunities. He’s quoted, “When companies are investing in robotics they’re also investing in more people because their company is doing better.”
