Questions contractors ask
Does the robot need a BIM model or a site scan first?
No. It builds its own model of the room as it works. There are no markers to install and nothing to program.
How fast does it paint?
Okibo robots finish an average of 1,000 square feet per hour on live projects. The actual rate depends on the surface, the coating and the layout of the space.
Who operates it?
Your own crew, after onboarding by our team. Setup takes minutes: drive it in, load the paint, position it at the first wall, choose the application and press start.
Can it paint ceilings and high walls?
Yes. EG7+ paints walls and ceilings up to 24 ft high, so your crew doesn’t have to work from lifts or scaffolding for those areas.
